Windows 10 Error Code 0x8007001f

Running XP Professional Service Pack 3 tried to perform high priority updates KB2691442, 2685939, 2699988, 2655992, 2707511, 27985, 2718704 and 2698365 from Microsoft update. All failed download and install immediately. Followed previous instructionsto perform a clean boot install with the same results.

I was able to perform a couple of the optional updates with some success butafter 2 I ended up with the same failure. My update history shows error code0x8007001F. Is there anything else I can do. Thanks for the help.

Hi all, I cannot update to Windows 10 anniversary update. I get the 0x8007001f error code. Here is the log from C: $WINDOWS.BT Sources Panther setuperr.log. Reimage - a patented specialized Windows repair program. It will diagnose your damaged PC. It will scan all System Files, DLLs and Registry Keys that have been damaged by security threats.

For about a year now I have been completely unable to install a Windows Update from Version 1709. Unfortunately I no longer have the Windows 10 USB I used to install Windows on my PC (which I built), and I'm not sure if either putting an.ISO of it on a USB, or just taking the hit and buying another one will solve my problem.
